Not happy with you order hun? Contact us at info@homegirl-apparel.com with any questions or concerns you may have regarding refunds and exchanges. 

We have a 30-day return policy. This means your items are eligible for return up to 30 calendar days from your delivery date.

To begin the return process, email us with the following information: 

  • ~ Full name used when placing your order
  • ~ Your order number
  • ~ Complete names (as listed on the site and your order slip) of items you wish to return and a brief explanation of why you wish to return them. Photos that document your reason for return are encouraged. 
  • ~ Whether you're seeking an exchange or refund as compensation for your dissatisfaction

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, with all hang tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase - usually, an order number is enough to fulfill this requirement. 

If your return is accepted, you will be informed via email within 3 business days of the initial return request. This email will contain information on how and where to send your item(s), and a return shipping label will be sent to your mailing address concurrently.

Returned items are to be inspected within 2 business days of delivery to us and your refund request will either be accepted or denied. Please be advised that acceptance and denial of return requests will be handled at our full discretion unless your item meets the below criteria for damaged or defective products. If accepted, your refund will be immediately issued via your initial payment method and you will receive email confirmation of such. Please note that banks have varying processing and posting times for returned funds, so you should check with your bank if your refund isn't available after you've received your refund confirmation email. If the refund request was denied, you will receive confirmation of such via email and the returned items will be automatically re-shipped to you.

If an exchange was requested and approved, the new item will be shipped as soon as we receive notification of your shipped return. You will then receive a new purchase confirmation and shipping updates. Items can only be exchanged for items with the same product name, but in different colors or sizes, or different items of equal or lesser value that are in stock. Specific exchange requests that follow these guidelines can be made within your return request email, but the final decision remains at the discretion of Homegirl. 

Be sure to send your return request and receive approval before sending any items back to us. Items sent back to us without first having documentation of an approved return request will not be accepted.

 

Special Cases:

Damages and Defects 

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us via email immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. In this email, please include your order number and the names of the items that are faulty. Photo evidence is encouraged. Please refer to the return policy above for response times and return processing. It's important that you reach out to us as soon as you can, so we can immediately evaluate the issue and make it right!


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on the following items:

  • ~ sale items
  • ~ gift cards
  • ~ intimate wear (any item with a hygiene barrier in place)
  • ~ custom orders
